Yassen Yankov

Diamante Golf Club

From Bulgarian roots to British hospitality excellence, Yassen's journey is one of passion, dedication, and a remarkable climb up the industry ladder. After earning his computing degree in the UK, he embarked on a transformative career in hospitality, starting at the front office as a bell boy. Yassen quickly rose through the ranks with a series of promotions at every establishment he was part of.

Yassen's leadership culminated in his role as General Manager at the prestigious In & Out (Naval and Military Club, London) but his ambition didn't stop there. In 2020, he achieved the coveted Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation, showcasing his commitment to the industry's highest standards.

With over 18 years of experience, Yassen brings a wealth of expertise to Diamante. He's a seasoned leader poised to elevate their already exemplary service.


Beyond work, Yassen enjoys a vibrant family life with his wife and two young sons. He's also embraced the unique lifestyle of Cabo San Lucas, finding inspiration in its fresh energy.

When it comes to my team, I allow for a more relaxed and friendly tone, fostering a
collaborative environment. There are, how-ever, some rules of mine which I mostly
abide to:

  • Reply within 24 hrs (even if a holding response).

 

  • I will normally not respond to a work-related e-mail starting with “Hi” – it is unprofessional.
     

  • Do not start an e-mail with “I hope this e-mail finds you well”...

 

  • Remember emails can have a long life, so be mindful of what you send.
     

  • Check for spelling and grammar mistakes - even if sending e-mail on a more casual/personal level.
     

  • Do not Reply All, unless you really have to.
